20th Annual Kathak Dance Festival ‘ANTARANG’ being organised by the AAMAD Dance Centre, where more than 100 artists including artists & young dancers including able and differently able person all together will take participation in the festival and will show their abilities and talent through their performances.
Festival will be organized on February 5, 2017 (Sunday) at Meghdoot -1 in Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi. Dr. Kamilini Asthana (Chairperson, Advisory Committee, Kathak Kendra) will be Chief Guest on this occasion.
The event will mesmerize you with more than 100 artists and young dancers comprising of able and differently able artists who will be portraying their skill in form of classical dancing under various dance performances.
‘ANTARANG’ – annual dance festival creates the opportunity for its students to present their training of Kathak on professional platform. AAMAD is considered one of the main integrated dance institute in India and imparts training at a professional level like; Kathak dance and its associated disciplines under “Guru Shishya Parampara” with the aim to create next generation of professionals. Imparting training to differently abled person and trained them to dance on wheelchairs & crouches. These specially need person artists come from highly skilled professional background and are well trained in classical and modern dance for more than two decades.
